I don't wanna watch anymore. At this point I just wanna see the fallout and then I give up. I know he'll fall further for Johnny even though again, nothing warrants that. I just wanna see him suffer but at the same time I think they'll avoid showing that too. Like Lexi will find out and Jay will take her away and after a few mopey looks Callum is gonna propose to Johnny & has that stupid grin on his face again.

I just don't know why they thought this was gonna work in any way. "Jollum" isn't strong enough to root for, and they're destroying "Ballum" so what is left at the end?

I feel like Max is gonna come back to divorce Callum and then Tony will leave with Charlie in February. Thanks for 7-8 years Tony, sorry we wasted you and then ruined your whole character.

I know drama is the lifeblood of soaps but like........this is pathetic. It isn't drama, it's just stupid. It doesn't make sense and it makes me angry. I don't feel for Callum, I don't wanna see Ben take him back, I can't even see Ben yet so I can't even sympathize with him, I don't find Johnny strong enough to be a villain or sympathetic party in the slightest. I just.....don't care. I feel that's the worst thing a writer can do. make the audience give up.

Sorry I talked a lot, this couple was my favorite for so long and now it's ruined. They can't even give me a reason Callum is acting like this. Like even a throwaway line about how miserable & lonely he is. Like he's seeking sex not for the sex but for the intimate cuddling after. That would be at least somewhere in the ballpark of who Callum is as a person. This weird sex hound is not. Next week apparently he runs back after feeling jealous and then gets caught doing it AGAIN after that with Phil? Wish Phil would fucking choke him instead.

And I would kill to just see him and Johnny fight. Like actually show Callum realizing Johnny is also being a piece of shit right now, and isn't just an innocent party Callum is "falling for". And maybe have Lexi straight up tell Callum, he's an embarrassment for a father.

Knowing this show, he'll hear that, cry for two seconds, then move Johnny right in to his marital bed and throw his wedding ring with "together forever" inscribed on it out the window.

Callum Highway everyone! Remember when he felt Ben's pain on the boat psychically so the show was implying a soul mate concept? That was fun. Today he had loud enough cheating sex that Linda overheard and he was willing to stay for breakfast. Whee.

I completely relate. I want to talk about this a lot too because I'm finding it difficult to process and talking helps. I too really enjoy this couple so to see it torn apart like this so haphazardly is pretty discouraging.

And you really aren't alone in that regard. From what little I've seen there have been plenty of people on Twitter and such with a lot to say about this, who are also trying to process this story.

It's something where you question why you are invested in TV shows at all. I could just watch another soap where I don't care about anything that happens and just shallowly enjoy how attractive every guy is.

But I actually cared about this and that's what makes it painful.

Like I'm fairly confident this is just a typical soap story where Callum cheats, they break up, and then down the line they reconcile. I really think that's where it is going.

But the way they accomplished step 1 is so painful. They way they've contorted Callum as a character in only three episodes is grotesque. And maybe it's intended to be that way, or maybe they ran out of time and had to make it work whatever way they can.

Needless to say, it's really hard to keep watching. I really don't need to see more of Johnny and Callum moving forward.

Not until Ben is back anyway.

I really hope he keeps the beard if/when he comes back to EE (knock on wood). Makes him look so much hotter!

OK, so it's looking like he's definitely agreed to come back to EE full time next year.

He's confirmed to only be doing the Murder at Midnight tour in 2025 even though it's been officially extended to April 2026.

I can't imagine that he'd step away from the second leg of the tour for any reason other than coming back to EE.

That's very, very exciting.
