I wish I didnt believe. When I was 12 years old my sisters friend told me she could read my mind. we were alone. I thought of a word and she repeated it. I change words (in my thoughts) and subjects and she repeated them....I just walked out of the room.
it freaked me out and I never told anyone about it.

Yes, I do believe that some people have some form of psychic ability. I'm not keen on palm readers or fortune tellers. Gypsy Fortune Tellers in particular creep me out because they tend to 'see' horribly negative things. Odd how they can never see that I am not going to pay them $300 to light a candle and eradicate the evil from my life. :biggrin1:

Of course the flip side of this is that I sometimes dream things before they happen. So does my mother, and so did her mother. Apparently it's one of those weird things that is only passed down to a female from a female. My mom has been known to strike fear into the hearts of mothers in 3 states when she calls and demands to know who is pregnant? :smile:


I love going to psychic fairs at the mall! I am a total sucker for them. I usually avoid the palm readers and go for the tarot card readers and those who do psychometry.

They say that only 20% (or something) of communication is verbal, I think that some people are just so much better at picking up body language and other intentional signs that they're perceived as having 'intuition', you can also play the odds and be right more times than wrong and the times you were right tend to stick in the mind more.
