My husband just got back yesterday from a week-long festival in Austin where he played almost every night. When he's gone for a long time in one location I always ask him "was she there?" It's not the same woman every time, but there's always someone who tags a band member and she appears everywhere he is. I guess it's a groupie kind of thing, I don't know. I never been in a band, but he's been doing it all his life.

Sometimes she's single, sometimes she's married but "he doesn't get me," and sometimes you just never know. But she will bump into him between sets, get backstage somehow, be at the bar after the show, and scarily enough be in the lobby in the afternoon. Sometimes she approaches him, sometimes she's just there. Don't know which would be scarier for me.

Last week he said there were two or three. None were aggressive, but still stalkers are strange enough. One talked to him, the other two never did. They were never together, but never far apart.

Oh, of course I debrief him! What do you think? Do I trust him? With all my heart. He knows I have many sharp objects in the bathroom, and I know where he sleeps. LOL!

The only reason I'm with my gf, of over 3 years, is because she pursued me.
I say you should just go for it. What do you have to lose as opposed to what you'll regret if you do nothing?

But you could miss out on a great guy who mistook your eye contact as a glance?

I'll be honest, we men just prefer things simple - a girl coming over to us - is grwat, For those of us who are shy....even better!

those are the risks you take. LOL

i am sure he might be great guy, just not a great guy for me, and i am okay with that. i know loads of super awesome people, that doesnt mean we are compatible to date. i am looking for the ying to my yang..and my ying would come over and approach me, because that's how he would roll. i dont do well with shy.

a guy who is shy, would do well with a woman who prefers to initiate, there is more than enough of them out there
