David White was a Winston Man (so was Rock Pamplin) shortly before his Playgirl centerfold appeared in the mid-70s. I rubbed myself raw while looking at this photo. I recall cuming in my jeans a couple of times. I had no idea he was in Playgirl at the time. We gay teens didn't have quick access to Playgirl. I was able to look through a couple of issues on the sly, but not this one.

Here's a GQ cover of David White in 1978. It was my freshman year in college. I still didn't know he had been in Playgirl at the time. Imagine all the hair that was on his torso and below. Biggest splooge ever when I finally connected the dots.

Probably my favorite of all time.

And this because I found his pics many years after they had been published. This goes to show that a beautiful man is a beautiful man no matter when the pics were produced.

He was a major fashion model though not a famous one - as in not a celebrity. He was part of the Zoli Agency if I recall correctly from a documentary I saw.

Sometime in the 2010s I googled and I was able to find a newspaper article about the fact he became a gym owner. There was a current picture of him standing in the middle of the equipment. Obviously he didn't look the same as during his modeling days, but he was still a very, very fine looking gentleman. I lost the pic in an old email.

What a life he has had! And he's accomplished so many things. And this goes to show that nude male photography is not pornography (not that there is anything wrong with porn) and a guy can do it and move on with his life without being tainted by a nude photoshoot.

The only thing that should bother anyone or everyone about nude editorials/essays is when the model (male or female) are poorly compensated.

Back in the 70s and 80s, you could count on most nude men in Playgirl magazine having large, lush bushes. I can't explain the rationale of manscaping. I think most men were very proud if they had a big bush then, they certainly liked to show them off in the locker rooms.

I saw - and bought - my first copy of Playgirl in 1987 : there was a heading on the cover saying "The Nudes Are Back!". The centrefold was a gorgeous young guy called John Paul, with the most beautiful cock. Even after I'd accumulated a little collection of naughty mags, he was one of my go-to guys when I wanted to wank with some visual stimulation (him and Nick from The John Anthony Collection #9! ). It breaks my heart to think he would be in his mid-60s now, so I suppose that's the nice thing about that kind of magazine : those gorgeous, sexy guys are immortalised when they were in their prime.
