One of my favorite things about Playgirl’s photography is the erotic ambiguity. Here’s Justin Leksell with a full erection. Is he a gunslinger with those bent knees, his slight lean, his left hand reaching for the holster of his gun? Look at the determination on his face and how that determination matches his forward facing penis.

The other thing I like about Playgirl is the writing, especially the Campus Hunk articles. I like how they interview college boys, and get them to open up about their personal lives. I also like the affectionate, gently teasing and admiring tone of the Campus Hunk essays.
