He was never cancelled. He was in the hot seat for making a stupid comment out of bitterness, but no one campaigned for him to lose work. From his own words, that was happening prior. I am happy to see him back acting and I hope he continues to grow because the more acting he does, the better the chance we have of seeing him naked.

Thank you! People have been misusing cancelled in the same way people have been misusing woke. He made some stupid comments and was rightfully called out for it. Like you say, it’s not like anyone was trying to end his career, there just wasn’t enough of a buzz about Aladdin (or his performance, even if I thought he was relatively fine in the role) for it to launch him to any kind of major success.
