his dad doesn't really have any pull in the industry currently. his reputation is pretty much tarnished after being on trial for multiple cases of sexual harassment.
his dad doesn't need to have power in the industry, his name alone is still recognizable. and don't forget, half the people running that shit are old hollywood who don't give a rat's ass about sexual harassment, have likely committed it several times and just see the name of a well known actor
Either way, there’s only a handful of black nepo babies in Hollywood anyway so I’m actually fine with it. By default theres already a disadvantage so why not use any and every connection that you have access too.
