I tend to agree that nothing illicit happened with kids. The way I see it, he had pyjamma parties with kids to watch movies/TV. Kids may have seen his dick through his fly.

When I think he failed is in handling the media. He should have spoken honestly about vitiligo and the types of treatments he was going through to deal with it. That would have killed all the speculations about him trying to cheat death by sleeping in an oxygen cylinder etc etc. And people would have then understood the changes to his skin colour.

In terms of the fatal event, we'll never know what really happened. It is quite possible that MJ demanded more of X to keep him active/awake to do his rehersal and the doctor warned him it could be dangerous, but still administered it.

Lets not forget that MJ was without money at that point. His tour was to pay back debts and bring him back to black ink. His life was riding on this and he hadn't performed in quite some time. So the preparations would have been very demanding on him.

OMG, I am so sick of reading about people that think Michael Jackson was like an innocent child that never grew up emotionally due to abuse he suffered (whether physical or emotional) as a child.

I was a HUGE fan of MJ and when the abuse allegations came out, I never wanted to believe that this man, who was so talented musically, could be a pedophile. I have read tons of material about MJ since then and I have one conclusion:

This man was DEFINITELY gay and DEFINITELY a pedophile. Period, end of story. How any person can see anything differently boggles my mind. Again, I want to add that I was and am still a huge fan of MJ's music and dancing and I so did not want to believe the rumors, but I woke up and smelled the coffee a long time ago.

P.S. I am not disputing the fact that he himself was abused as a child and that his family, in particular his father, was a terrible excuse for a father, but that does not change my mind about my belief that this guy was both gay and a pedophile.

where mj's body was concerned, i don't think any of us have a right to judge.... there are plenty of threads here of people who have insecurities and do ghastly things to their bodies and that's their choice.... it was also his....

where mj's career was concerned, it never ended right up to the very last day.... he was always working on something, not always music, and not always in the spotlight.... there are plenty of entertainers who take the back seat for a while and work behind the scenes....

where mj's health was concerned, that was his business.... he's endured as much physically as anyone else would have in their lifetime and it was unfortunate that he succumbed to his own health problems so soon and with children so young....

where mj's money is concerned, again: his business.... anyone on this thread who has had credit issues, has lost a house, gone through a divorce, started and failed at entrepreneurship, or anything else financial i didn't mention has no right to make judgment.... and might i ask: how much money did all those other people in financial ruin donate to charity or help out their families with?

as for mj and illicit activity with children, i think it's safe to say nothing happened.... any parent who would settle out of court with someone who hurt their child should not be a parent in the first place.... that is not justice, it's extortion....

and as for mj and his drug use, yes: he took a lot of drugs for a lot of reasons.... what makes mj's case so sad is that someone in the medical field would deliberately administer illegal substances to a patient to the point that the patient dies in the process....
