I find it interesting the question is aout gay experiment or sex in the military and straight people are answering as if they would know? I'm more interested in the bi/gay guys who were in the military who may actually know better. I dont go talking about hetero dudes do. although its obvious

I'm a longtime fan of the military porn genre, and have commented about it several times over the years in different threads. But I just discovered this thread, and was fascinated by all the information about what was really going on. My favorite has to be Bobby Garcia, even though he was certainly the least polished/professional . Because he was the first, and recording at a time when the models didn't think their work would be seen widely, there is an excitement to them. I started renting out VHS tapes of Bobby way back when, then discovered the tube sites. My goal (of course!) is to see every one , and I thought I was well on my way until I discovered one site that had many I had never viewed before. Unfortunately, they are all listed as "private". I don't quite understand how one person could have access to all these particular scenes...in all my years I've never seen those scenes anywhere else. Aside from THIS site (there's a hint), anyone know of sites that have RARE Bobby Garcia tapes that are hard to find? Thanks.

Letting you in on some real military experience with my earlier post on Aug. 31, 2021:

With this Afghan withdrawal action just happening, brought back some memories (good and not-so-good) in-country with my platoon leader and me as his NCO a few years back. After patrols, he and I would usually debrief in his room, him often only clad in OD boxers. The guy was/is a real poster boy for the Army, handsome and built, and super straight initially. Given the long absence of companionship and sexual release, the conversation at times drifted into male needs for relief. After a particularly difficult mission, he asked if we could just beat off together in his room to release some stress. This soon would lead to mutual masturbation and eventually to blow jobs on each other. Can't say the sex as all that hot, given the hasty and furtive occasions when this happened, but better that nothing. When he was due to rotate out, we throw a party for him the last night, and he asked me to join him after. His "last request" from me was to screw him, so he would have something from me to take out with him when he left. Did the "down and dirty" on him, leaving him happy and dripping by the time I left his room. Never saw him after that, although we did maintain contact for about a year. Last I heard was that he's now married, dad to twin boys, and continuing his service in the National Guard.

Reminds me of the adage that "there are no atheists in the fox holes" or homophobes either.

Used to work with the military and still do on certain occasions, and not only was I always excited to see so many rugged guys but even more so by the number of them who got together with other guys (either hearing from gossip or from first hand experience - well, not always involving the hand ). All branches of service and different ranks.

As I mentioned, much of the time it was quick and for relief, rather than a lusty leisurely encounter, especially given the military regs regarding fraternization between office and enlisted ranks (a definite career buster). While there was some feeling in our "relationship", it was more opportunistic. Yet our last act did make me think he was not wanting to write it off so easily. While I occasionally think back on it, I don't really believe it would last long anyway, but I will always remember him as that crew cut hung hottie.

I was in the RAF for 17 years and never saw any gay sex, although one officer on a base I was on was court-martialled and dismissed with disgrace for sex with a male civilian, off base too. The RAF Police used to investigate any hints of gay sex like bloodhounds.

Plenty of hetero sex, but the official line was against unmarried sex on camp. I was once reprimanded for having a women in my room all night, and later had an affair with an Army nursing officer and had to climb in and out of her mess room window. In Belize the garrison used to bus in whores from Belize City for private parties. Also heard about women being passed around from bed to bed in multi-occupancy barrack rooms.

Hope things are more liberal in the forces now, sex is a natural activity after all!

They reasoned that if they could just locate Dorothy they could pressure her to out her gay friends so they could kick them out of the Navy.

Not making this up, it really happened.

Some obese guy from Malaysia who ran a DoD contracting company that provided port services (tug boats, sewage removal, security, divers to inspect the bottom of ships, etc., etc.) to the US Navy all across the Asia Pacific region who for more than a decade was bribing US Navy officers with all kinds of freebies (including whores) to get them to bring their ships to ports his company served so he could bilk the Navy out of millions. There were at least 60 admirals under investigation in the matter.

This being Memorial Day weekend reminds me of one of my fellow soldiers while on combat duty, who lost a close buddy due to an IED on patrol. He was also slightly injured, but his bigger injury was the grief of this friend, and had to be evacuated due to suicide attempts.

Just wondering how many other combat veterans encountered close relationships (like mine above, and several others later) while serving in a hostile environment, and needing to seek companionship and sexual relief in discreet ways. Given the DADT and fraternization regulations (and local religious prohibitions in these countries), it certainly would take a brave and needy soldier to seek relationships with fellow soldiers (and in rare cases, among the local male population). I know this happened, and may still be happening, and would like to hear from other combat veterans share their experiences.
