Recently picked us some suits from Aussiebun, a black nylon. The I picked up a lightning bolt print from a brand called sluggers also from Australia.

There seem to be a lot of briefer than speedo swimsuits (string side and/or partial or no back covering) for sale on line, but I almost never see a man wearing one in a public setting.
Has anyone else noticed this and wonder who is buying them and what they do with them after they buy them?

I wear speedo solars most of the time but don't think I will go any briefer.
I did buy two rios two summers ago but decided they were too brief to wear anywhere where suits were required so I threw then away.
I also just ordered a tan-through suit that has about the same coverage as a speedo solar. I want to try it because I have heard they have less of a confining feeling and dry faster.
If I like it, I will order another one with more coverage for venues where a brief suit would be inappropriate and toss both solars and my longer suit.
If they really do dry fast, one brief suit will be enough so I can reduce my swimwear inventory from 3 to 2.
Probably as low as I can get it since there are places a swim brief is appropriate so I wear one but other situations require more coverage.
I know from other board that there are people who only swim where they can be nude and own no swimwear but I don't see that in my future.

Just got back from Thailand - surprised to see that about half the guys wore briefs (lots of Russians) - and saw several guys roll up them up even smaller to make them tiny while laying out (usually right next to their wives). Saw 3 guys with thongs also! In that environment it becomes normal to wear minimal swimwear.

I brought a speedo solar for under my boarders...by day #2 I was just in the solar on the beach, by day #3 I didn’t even wear the boardies walking from the hotel. Nobody cared. I then bought some tiny unlined bikini underwear and by the end of the week was walking up and down the beach just in those...fucking awesome.

Cancun isn’t quite like Thailand but last time I was there about 20% of dudes wore speedos. ABSOLUTELY go for it - no one will even bat an eye dude.

I'll have to check out the Speedo solar. I'm looking for something that will show off, just not be too overt about it.
I was really wanting to find something simple, solid color and didn't have the speedo logo on it since I'm not huge on blatant logos. But if they are good, they might be worth a shot. New to the whole swim brief/bikini thing so we'll see how it goes.

Tan thru suit arrived.
Despite being very lightweight, noting shows through.
However, the micro is way too low cut for me to wear when I need a suit.
Front is essentially at the base of the cock and the top portion of my crack is exposed in back,
Will gat a regular cut swim brief instead.
