Since this is an issue and I am a woman it belongs here. I also thought it might help any other ladies that consider doing this or explain to any guys why we aren't talking to them anymore.

I recently posted my MSN name on my profile. Mainly because my yahoo totally quit working on me and i cant sign in to get all of my buddies names to transfer them over to yahoo. I figured it would be easier to let them add my new name onto their lists. I also figured if someone got stupid i'd just put them on ignore. Plus there are all sorts of interesting personalities that might pop me messages.

I just wanted to let the current and future irritating people know...

I am not always at my computer. So popping me IMs hourly saying "Are you there?" is going to land you on ignore. I'm not always able to talk. I might pop on to my computer for a minute or two and then have to leave.

I don't have my MSN published so i can watch you masturbate. PERIOD. Can you imagine how many times i get prompted for this and if i entertained everyone of them? Sorry to burst your happy little bubble there. I'm a pretty intellectual person and if you can't carry on decent conversation outside of your dick, you will be ignored.

When i say that i don't cam, it's because i dont want to. Respect that. This also doesn't mean that i want to watch you cam- especially when you don't even have photos on your LPSG profile! Sometimes i might get a hankering to watch a really hot guy, but often I am on the go or my child is running around the house. I've had several guys try to tell me to put my child to bed or distract her long enough so they can whip out their dick on cam. How pathetic.

We all like compliments, I am no different than the next person, but it's awkward as hell to have someone grovel. It makes most women uncomfortable to be talked to like this:

"OMG, i can't believe i'm really talking to you!"
"Sorry if i'm still in awe that you are actually talking to ME"
"I'm just amazed that you would take the time out of your schedule to speak with me of all people"

I thought groveling was part of worshiping at an altar.:pat::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yeah i think i'll start printing out their photos and urinating on them for money.

I saw a video of some girl crouching down and peeing on a boardwalk. Some grumpy old man walked up and kicked her right in the cooter to set her straight!

Someday I will be that grumpy old man, mark my word!

I explained why i put it here. I had an extensive buddylist that i can't get into to add them to my MSN account. Ironically....ive probably come across just as many pushy guys so far as i used to in the chatroom before i figured out how to turn off my IMs in there.

The ignore system on msn works mucho better than yahoo ever did.

If you decide to go back to chat...i will tell you the trick for enabling IMs....its much much MUCH more peaceful in there.

It was lonely signing up for a messenger service that worked great...but not having any of my old buddies on there was depressing. So now my flock is slowly coming back.

I had a lot more weirdos back when i first came here.

I recently culled my heard on Yahoo! IM. I'm down to 45 from something silly like 76. I should cut back even more since there are only 3 people I talk to on a daily basis; but there are another 8 or so I chat with at least weekly. I just hate to block anybody, it seems mean. I would rather they just fade away.

Why are so many men so bad with women? I read these threads and I just can't identify with this behavior at all. Sometimes I genuinely think something's wrong with me because I'm not really predatory, but then I see the other side of the coin (like the stuff Rouge gets) and I can't help but feel glad. It's the no-standards thing that gets me most, I think - the way so many men are able to just throw themselves at anyone because they think they're attractive. I've been involved with too many people to trust what I see, I have to put her through my own sort of test before I feel comfortable. And following that, it has to be a two-way street with reciprocation on both sides or I just won't pursue it further. What's the point of constantly maneouvering yourself into the lesser of the two in the interaction? Nobody likes self-deprecation and endless shallow flattery - it sets off feelings of distrust and destroys all credibility. It's also so stupid to think that just because a woman's on this site that it gives you free reign to be a perverse dickhead, stalk her, and harass her for sexual favors. Aside from that, there can be no attraction when things don't feel equal. I don't know, it's just strange, I'll never understand this whole beg-and-bend-over-backwards-for-someone-you-don't-really-know. I'll certainly never be anyone's 'fan,' either. Granted I'm fairly drunk right now, but I'm at least reasonably sure I'll still feel this way when I wake up.

I still use yahoo mostly, even though its a pain sometimes. Some weeks ago I could not get into the messenger or yahoo e mail. I tried to change my password and that worked. Dont know if its the same thing for you or maybe you dont need to get in there anymore, just thought I would mention it.

I was also thinking about posting my yahoo ID here but decided not to. There's still more of those guys here, that cant talk about anything else then their big cocks. And that just gets old and not interesting or exciting after a few chats. And yeah...I know what the site is about, but still....

DING DING DING!

Yahoo's blocking system was always annoying. First you had to close the IM window, delete them from your buddy list, THEN if they messaged you again, you could put them on ignore. Talk about troublesome.

With MSN, it's one click to block them, and another click to unblock them. If I'm talking to one of my friends, and he's getting really annoying, I can just shut them up for awhile. With Yahoo, unblocking someone means going into one of the options menus, finding out who's blocked, memorizing their username, unblocking them, then going back out of all that to go to add them, unless they message you first. Not much is more awkward than that.

Mlle.Rouge,
Just curious to know if the annoying people prompting you with: "are you there" do so when you are obviously "online", or is your status "away" "brb" "offline" etc.
Yes, MSN is quite handy to block people we don't want to chat momentarily with. But to begin with, the new intruders had to ask you to add as friends, I think, so you could have rejected the request if it was from strangers and you were not into chatting with strangers.

My point is that I think we pretty much have the option to shut incoming requests to begin with, or to end with you can block, ignore, appear offline to certain adresses etc.

Anyway, I do understand your unwillingness to talk to some horny jerker , besides, intelligent people are not the common norm, then out of the intelligents, there is a further filter to separate the cultivated who can talk or chat about more interesting matters than if a penis is big enough or not
