Well for anyone who wants to be an English teacher, they should learn some basics of spelling and grammar, HOWEVER, my post was a jab at the grammar nazi thread going on. By the way, no one owns any topics here EXCEPT Mark, whether or not Nixxy likes that fact.

Yeah I agree, madame_zora (nice to meet you by the way :hi: ). I think it&#39;s lovely when you can feel someone&#39;s personality come through when they type more informally. Helps you to visualise them when they are tellin a story.

I&#39;m a culprit for deliberate mis-spelling and over-using words like "like" and "totally" as well (even though I&#39;m English) n I think it&#39;s no big deal. Come on - this is an internet forum&#33; If I write you a letter it will be beautifully crafted with a flourish of my elegant fountain pen, but online? Nah, I&#39;m gonna totally go with the flow

As I&#39;m new here I don&#39;t really know you Nixxy (though you took the time to welcome me the other day when I joined so ya must be pretty cool&#33, but I&#39;m an &#39;older guy&#39; at 27 like DoubleMeatWhopper (I can&#39;t believe I&#39;m in the older guys cat either&#33 and I like to make a guy feel desired and show him I&#39;m into him. That guy sounded like a fool. But in the words of the song: &#39;Don&#39;t give up on us, baby&#33;&#39;

But I know how ya feel cos I had almost the same thing happen to me last week with a younger guy - I kept asking him how he liked things and if he liked what I was doing. His response? He was totally (e)motionless, said &#39;I don&#39;t care&#39;, &#39;yeah whatever&#39; and made me feel like a rent boy. So I just stopped and yelled &#39;throw me a bone here will ya&#33;&#39; Well he looked surprised - like I was the first person to ever complain about his non-participation&#33; I&#39;m not sure that I&#39;ll be seeing him again...

But I won&#39;t give up on them younger guys just yet...

As for work. Ok so like, first of all, I get there, and sign on to the computer to see my orders. There&#39;s an internet order due for 8:58&#33; The machines aren&#39;t even on at tha point&#33; So like, I had to skip the testing and junk to print those. So, if they came out shitty, not my fault. Walgreens needs to change it. They put it in for half an hour from the website. And they don&#39;t take into account the work load. It&#39;s bogus. Also, this old lady calls. She&#39;s all "when do you get yer milk shipments in?" So I was all "we get shipments in every day except for Sunday." "No...NO NO NO NO NO&#33; Yer a moron. Let me speak to someone who actually knows something&#33;" SO i put her on hold, then called for a manager. And then, totally forgetting that they&#39;re everywehre, "I HATE OLD PEOPLE&#33;" Jackie started cracking up, cause I always say things without thinkinh.

So then, later on, this customer who&#39;s always in came in. And I helped her with what she needed, and she was all "Can you call me a manager?" So, I did. And she went on and on about how good I am, how helpful I am, etc. She was all "I tried telling another manager about him, but I couldn&#39;t remember his name" So, she totally made my day&#33;
