Ncuti Gatwa

Never have I had any thoughts about bending the doctor over the tardis console and giving his ass my load! But here I am!

Ncuti's Ass is just out of the world!

god what i wouldn’t give to see him get railed over the console like that

Several loads in a fat ass like that.

The overnight ratings are sadly not great.

Space Babies got 2.6 million and The Devil's Chord got 2.4 million. This excludes iPlayer and Disney+ of course but yikes though.

The hot weather didn't help among other factors. Personally I think Doctor Who is better suited for either March or October.

It's definitely not a show suited to be airing close to summer.

I found them silly but Doctor Who has been sillier.
Jinkx Monsoon as Maestro and their scenes with Ncuti Gatwa were brilliant.
I'm cool with silliness (in fact I liked the singing goblins in the previous eoisode), but I just didn't like the story in general. Even before they got to the babies, the first 10 minutes was filled with exposition in a rushed effort to establish the basics the show (the Doctor being the last of the Time Lords, the Butterfly Effect, the Translation Circuit etc). It's like RTD wrote the episode with a streaming audience in mind so he didn't think they would have the attention span to take in these aspects gradually.

That's because he did tbh. This series is a new jumping on point.
I was more shocked with how quickly the Doctor told Ruby about Susan in the second episode.
Ncuti and Millie have a strong rapport.

Agreed! They’re very good together. Ruby reminds me a bit of Clara and Amy mixed together lol I just hope to high heavens that they don’t try another character arc where the companion falls in love with the doctor

Ruby's definitely Amy meets Clara. I don't get a romantic vibe between her and the Doctor.

So I just saw The Devil's Chord and thought it was a fuck ton better than the Space Babies. I am endearing myself to the new Doctor and companion, but I'm noticing RTD repeating trends, like the Doctor brooding over being the last of his kind and having a mystery box that's teased each week. As much as I enjoy his brand of Doctor Who, he should really move on from his tried-and-tested tropes.

How are the Disney ratings? Is it really that bad compared to previous Doctor Who's?

No idea tbh.
Yes, thise ratings are not good compared to even the 60th specials last year but those are overnights. The weekly/monthly one coupled with iPlayer will boost it.
Besides they're nearly finished filming Series 15 and RTD is writing beyond that. It'll be fine in the long run.
