New Jersey

I must add my vote for Jersey being a shithole. Obnoxious, ignorant, bigoted, unattractive people (some present company excepted), dirty, smelly, cold, boring, bordered by much more interesting places so why even bother? Five billion toll booths for a few miles of interstate highway. Do you guys really think it's that much of a privilege to drive through your state or is it just that you realize you have nothing else to offer except land that's begging to be paved over and driven on?

ahhh... I'm just playing. Love you, Joisey.

You know, you really got a big mouth, you know that? You flat out have an ignorant mind & mouth to match.

what he said.

Dig it- I hear this all the time from friends, relatives, etc., who all thought they'd be better off out of NJ, when the truth is- they were more comfortable here.

With a sig like yours, I expected a more reasonable response.

Too late, too tired to fire off an applicable putting in one's place attitude tonight or morning there, dude- try me in 24 hrs.
then you'll need a band aid for the new ass I'll be more rested up to tear you.

Yeah, but in a good way. There are some truly great places and they're mixed with this distribution capitol thing! I just drove past the COSTCO plant and dear god it had to be 2 million square feet!!!! Yeah, so what's your point? What about fucking left turns----come on. How much doe's NJ waste in gasoline by not allowing left turns? Just take the friggin' jug handle and shut up.

I have a love/hate relationship with this state. Yes, it is highly populated state (most densly populated in the country), people are aggressive (drive fast, can be rude, always in a rush), has some of the worst urban areas in the country (Camden), although I heard some of cities like Newark and Asbury Park are making a turnaround. It is expensive (high taxes and rent).
But on the flipside, NJ has some of the most affluent neighborhoods in the country. Everything is at your fingertips. NYC and Phili are right around the corner. Not to mention, NJ has the shore and the mountains all within a few hours drive. We also have a kick ass ice-hockey team. Have to give props to the Devils. It is also very diverse as well.

New Jersey at one point had the highest standardized math scores in the country. Also, we are the most densely populated state in the country. I'm proud to be a New Jersian.

I've been reminiscing lately, what, with all the recent departures, and I just have to say.

New Jersey still sucks.

I may live in Georgia but I will always be a Jersey Girl.
As such I am highly offended at your childish remark.
It's a shame you couldn't be nicer in this thread;
because one thing most Jersey Girls can do is
suck cock like nobodys business.

Then again, maybe that's just me.:tongue::cool:

Well, what you don't find by searching your username on Google to see just how badly you'll be fucked if anyone you know ever searches your username on Google.

I've matured in the past four years, yet this was posted pre-Jersey Shore ... I'd say I called it quite accurately.

I'm the Nostradamus of the Obvious.

P.S. I kid Jersians. You're alright in my book, I'm just that guy that can't help but take a wiffle-ball bat to a beehive. Or the sheriff's daughter.

New Jersey is the place to be and I will always love it here in Jersey, I was born and raised and still live here and always will....sure I like other states but just to visit
New Jersey is SPECIAL....many famous people came from here and many more will ..
friends of mine moved out of NJ to other states and GUESS WHAT !!! they moved back to NJ again !!! you gotta love NJ

I think NJ takes a lot of flack because the only part that most people are aware of are what is shown in the media or they have traveled through Newark International Airport; both do not give the best first, second or third impression. But NJ is not called the garden state for nothing... there are some very beautiful areas and I have been to parties in some lovely homes in NJ. I have over the years dated a couple of lovely people from NJ. That beings said... Steer clear of doctors from Fort Lee.
If you ever have a chance to visit Duke Farms in NJ it's wild when you think that it used to be a home. Same with Shangra-La in Hawaii.

Hey look, it ain't our fault that fat FUCKO who was elected Gov here turned out to be the country's biggest bollox in years. Frankly, he makes republicans looks extreeeemely bad and gives them a bad name. I thought we'd seen the last of fucked up republicans when Dubya left almost eight yrs ago.

I'm actually moving to NJ in less than three months. I'm aiming to attend Rutgers for grad school, so if I get in, I'll be there for quite some time. I've been to parts of NJ to visit relatives, and so I know that there are nice areas. I don't understand how a whole state can be so maligned. If you're not happy where you are, move -- you have 49 other states (and a few US territories) from which to choose your ideal residency and still be in the same country -- or just leave the country. Life is full of options, and it's silly to spend yours someplace where you aren't happy.

:)

It's not maligned by most people who live there, it's from people who live in other areas. I'm glad I grew up there, it made me assertive, even though I tend to be shy at times. I left because of the cold winters. I also didn't like living in the cities since so many are old, rundown and ugly. Every town in most northeast counties in NJ is city like anyway. I love south Florida, it's a beautiful place that makes me happy, but I'm glad and proud to be from NJ.
