Mine is back up. I guess the site was down that day.
I was paranoid hearing about other blogs taken down with no explanation.
Something seems sketchy about it though.

"It's been a blast. Thanks for your patronage. We hope you enjoyed your time at newTumbl." does seem to say, "we're out of business." They were purging so many blogs (especially, but not only, gay ones) that I wonder if someone finally just pulled the plug for reasons of legal exposure, etc. We live in increasingly restrictive and (maybe even) oppressive times.

It's also posted on their twitter page. I guess it really is shut down...

Yep. It's gone. Sucks recently a popular torrent site that has a ton of porn gay and straight and mainstream movies closed also. And it was announced the same way out of nowhere. They said they couldn't afford it anymore.

No luck here trying to sign in either, I thought I was banned at first, But it appears they are out of business.
Lots of good gay content, but also had issues with some blogs posting creepy underage content,and copyrighted material, as it was not well monitored,but did have some real erotic blogs.

Interesting, I used to love to wander the blogs,and I'd see the blogger post ,Ive been taken down again this is the third time, and look at his posting and see underage stuff, no wonder ass wipe.
