Serious question here. How do transgender people that are actually transitioning from one gender to the other or a non-binary person feels about non-binary being classified as transgender? I’ve seen a lot of discussion about this by people who are neither and I’m interested to know what you think?

At the risk of swimming against the current, I couldn't care less. I am just me. As I am transitioning later in life so the non-binary label would likely fit my physique best. There are masculine things I cannot change and can only mask so well. But that label, just like the rest, box me in and I don't care for that. So you can call me anything that seems right to you. Some call me female, some trans, occasionally I am asked the non-binary question, sometimes I get called male. Even that doesn't offend me, I do have chromosomes that say I am so.....

Best bet is to skip the labels and call me Aly. K?
