Ah, let me look for it. Only problem is that we, of course, have a different measurement system in Germany. I don't think I could convert it. I'll just post it in german, ok?

Btw: I am not a MATE

Give me the recipe please! I love Nutella's cakes! ty mate

I buy nutella in bulk size jars at Costco.
  • Over 100 Hazelnuts per jar
  • Contains No Artifical Colors
  • Contains No Artificial Preservatives
I use this on everything including my parter. PB & nutella sandwich with a glass of milk is the perfect when you are feeling a little peckish. Also if you marry a spoonful of pb and a spoon of nutella and put it in the freezer for a few minutes you have a semi- instant peanut butter cup.

I just noticed on the label it's made in Canada. I always thought it was made in Italy.

Pandora I would love the cake recipe.

Ah well, I found the recipe, but even if I don't convert grams and milliliter, I'll have problems translating the whole recipe. I know I am not gonna win a prize for brilliant english with this, but here we go:

250g Butter
250 Sugar
5 Eggs
Baking Powder (one small package)
some Salt
500g Flour
250ml Milk
200g Nutella
2 Big Spoons of Orange Liqeur

Mix the Butter (room temerature) and the Sugar together. Mix Salt, Baking Powder and Flour together. Slowly add the Milk, spoon by spoon.
Cut the Dough in half.
Add Nutella into one half, in the other half add the Orange Liqeur.
Fill the light Dough into a baking dish, then put the dark one with the Nutella on top.
Slowly stir them both together, spiraled, with a fork.
Bake 60 Minutes on 150 Degress Celsius.
Besprinkle with Powdered Sugar after it's cooled off

Thanks Pandora,
Your english is so good compared to my german or italian. This is easy to convert. I think a small package of baking powder is equal to a teaspoon. I'll try this soon.

<3 <3 <3 Nutella!

Usually on toast, or with PB in a sandwich (washed down with a cup of tea).
Sometimes I just spoon it from the jar.
Occasionally I dip fries in it.

.....the main ingredients of Nutella are sugar and vegetable oils (mostly palm oil[5]).....

Palm oil!? Oh shit!

The single greatest threat facing orangutans today is the rapidly expanding palm oil trade. Rainforests are being cleared at the rate of 300 football fields per hour to make way for oil palm plantations.
While there are millions of hectares of degraded land that could be used for plantations, many oil palm companies choose to instead use rainforest land to gain additional profits by logging the timber first. Palm oil companies also frequently use uncontrolled burning to clear the land, resulting in thousands of orangutans being burned to death. Those that survive have nowhere to live and nothing left to eat.

About Palm Oil

You're very welcome!
Yes, I think a Teaspoon would be about the same!
Well, considering that I studied english..........I still think it's not good enough. But then again we never learned recipes in english or any medical terms either!

About Palm Oil

Fuck.
There is no way I'm buying it ever again.
I stopped buying a brand of printer paper recently for the same reasons.

Damn the bastards!
I love nutella.

My sister LOVES this. I've yet to taste it. There's something about it where I just don't want to try it at all. I dunno why.

As soon as I found out about their palm oil content I e-mailed their office voicing my disgust and they've been told that I won't be buying their products until they stop using palm oil.

I'm totally ignorant to this palm oil issue. Suppose I'll be reading soon...

Not bad for my first little bullshit poll. ;P

Forgive me, Riot.

I was totally ignorant of the palm oil content of nutella, myself until informed otherwise in this thread.
I do love the product and it does hurt me to have to boycott it because of the greater good.

Cheers.

I used to love it years ago, but when I found out I was hypoglycemic and had to reduce my sugar intake drastically (by 90%), I had to give it up because it's quite high in sugar. On the plus side, I have now lost 27 pounds and 5 inches off my waist from quitting the white sugar demon. My taste for sweets has changed so much in the last year that I would probably find it way too sweet now. I used to love it on fresh bread. Being celiac as well, I stopped eating it when I couldn't eat fresh bread anymore.
