I can't put my finger on it, but I have seen some suggestions of helmet in pics of one of the other brothers, maybe Joe.
As someone has pointed out, they are an evangelical family (father was a minister). Many evangelicals and conservative Christians identify with 'Mosaic Law' .....Judaism being a precursor to Chistianity. Combine that with a birth in the US northeast, all signs point to Nick being cut.
