DING DING DING! This is exactly what's happening with Onlyfans. Guys start out on there being honest and fair, giving you good value for your money. Then as they begin collaborating with other (more experienced) content creators, they start picking up tips and tricks from them on how to bilk their fans/subscribers for maximum $$. Their entire OF eventually morphs into nothing but DRM-protected PPV teaser clips, all hidden behind a full-priced paywall with zero disclosure about PPV or DRM beforehand. And just like that: Another non-transparent, money-grubbing scammer is born. These cash-grabbing tactics eventually become so commonplace on the site that it becomes the 'new normal,' which only makes them feel further justified in adopting these unscrupulous practices because "everyone else is doing it this way!" These OF guys have proven time and time again that they're willing to bite the hands that feed them, so it's time to stop feeding them.

It's interesting because DRM aside, it seems like the mid tier creators and ones with collabs that are mid tend to do PPV. (and ESPECIALLY the straight ones who don't actually do anything with guys lol)

The large and popular ones have stayed away from them from what I've seen (not overwhelmingly but like guyfromwales got huge and I dont believe he's done ppvs yet? but i havent been subbed in months).

There are some like the gay baitors who solely do ppvs that people buy, I know one bought a house in Miami or something from it?

Small ones (with sense) don't use PPV because they know Word of mouth is the best way to get discovered.

The middle you kind of have the ones who are muscular and conventionally attractive who don't have much business sense but just go by what they think/ hear is most profitable.

The only practice I'm "whatever" about is people who do PPV advanced, goes on the timeline a week to a month later. It's sorta lame but its something at least.

I'm not the hugest fan of his work but I did laugh when I saw a tweet where someone made fun of his scenes being samey and he kinda took it in stride and laughed along with it - I really like that he didn't take it personally or go on some huge weird tirade when slightly criticized like a LOT of creators do.

How do I do that. I play the clip that I want to DL then I start the Tubedugger and the DL never starts..

Glad you posted this...I was thinking about purchasing a PPV from @nathanwebb, but if it is in DRM...no thanks.

Shane Crommer has DRM on and even stuff that was reliable for me like screen recording no longer works.

Not that it's even worth it anyway, his Onlyfans is on life support. Doesn't send PPVs or anything interesting, just posts a picture or short video every few days to keep people subbed and nothing else.
