What about Manchester Aquatic Centre? Seems like right now there's only the showers in the mixed changing village (so no naked showers) but are there other showers there (when not shut for COVID) where one can have a proper naked shower with soap?

Heard that even the open showers at The Y Club in Deansgate are even still closed. Just the cubicles are in action.

Today my gym opened up the sauna and steam rooms finally so hopefully others will open their communal showers soon.

Interesting because at my gym, it's the opposite, The steam room is closed, but the open communal showers are available for use. The hot tub is open in the locker room, but it's only one person at a time unless another person is in your social bubble. Even then, it's only 2 guys max allowed. I never use the hot tub, but I do miss the steam room. I completely understand why it's closed though. I'm just thankful to be able to take a shower after a workout now. Gyms reopened back in July, but it was just a couple of weeks ago that I could take a shower after exercise.

Yeah it’s weird how gyms do it differently. The locker room, pools and showers have all been open at mine from reopening but just not the sauna/steam rooms.

Yeah technically all gyms can reopen Sauna and Steam from Oct 1 at 1/2 capacity so I think those with big facilities may start to reopen but those with tiny saunas probably won't...

Occasionally get passes to the one on Chepstow Street. Does Quay have a sauna and pool etc? Never tried that one
