You're missing the context. There are those on this thread who want to present all bisexuals as the same and seem dead set on not allowing for nuance
There are 99% straight bisexuals, 99% gay bisexuals and 50/50% bisexuals ( as well as all those in between) If you make no distinction between them when their sexual behavior is vastly different, then the term bisexual loses relevance for most people.
Bisexual cause I've had my heart broken by men and women, so I've tasted despair (and lips) of different caliber.

When someone uses gay to describe themselves while still acknowledging desire for women (even at 1%) that doesn't just blur lines, it erases meaningful distinctions for those of us who have no such margin.

? i never said anything like that lmfao, when did i say all bisexuals were the same? obviously some have preferences leaning towards either men or women, i never denied that. but even if it's a miniscule 1% attraction to the opposite sex, you still would be classified as bisexual because there still IS an attraction. just say you vastly prefer men over women or vice versa.
people who call themselves gay then turn around have have sex with the women (sex workers don't count because it's just a job) are objectively not gay because there is clearly an attraction, unless they're experimenting and realize it's not for them. i never denied there was nuance, i even agree, but my previous statement still stands.
