I haven&#39;t met any non-orthodox jews in the UK who were circumcised

granted, i can&#39;t claim vast numbers of male jewish conquests, but it seems to remain the exception rather than the rule in europe (and, i&#39;d expect, most places with the obvious exception of israel).

In the US, I&#39;ve never met a Reformed or Conservative Jew who was uncircumcised. Of course, most American Gentiles are cut as well.

Yes, oddly enough several jews I know are not cut. Apparently, &#39;grandma&#39; who was an Auschwitz survivor refused to let her grandsons in the USA be cut - saying "that&#39;s how they knew". Given the history, this reaction doesn&#39;t surprise me at all.

Debbie, a friend of mine here in London used to go out with him before he got famous, a fact that we are heartily tired of hearing about since she works in PR and dines out on it the whole time.
