I dont think theres really a definitive perfect size, im guessing every girl has her favorite, but the ones that say 10+ is what they like are either full of bs, or have had many partners. I can look at a ruler and consider 5" long big, I'm 19 and 8.5 long and very thick and if thats not enough for a girl, then there's no pleasing them lol. and then guys have a ideal perfect size for their women, I couldnt pick a perfect size, that would be limiting my choices, all women are beautiful, especially the one that I love. I have a little bit of a problem being that I'm a big dude at 6'3", 190 lbs. My 8"x 6" looks only normal compared to my body (at least in my perception). I think smaller guys have an advantage here, because a 7.5 x 5.5 on a dude whose 5'3-5'6 would look ginormous, while my dude looks simply average (check my gallery and you'll probably get what I'm saying). So as much as it's a size thing, it seems to me women get turned on by the look of a big, floppy one. If thats the case, then tall and lean/muscular(me) is a disadvantage.
