I think I mentioned before in this thread before that Branson did one of the best disappearing acts of them all. Did his contracted number of movies for Falcon and got out. Was one of the lucky ones that his real name didn't get leaked.

Since he was in and out of the business so fast, probably not many people knew his real name. And if he had a common name, it could be difficult to find the right person without a birth date. Tom Chase could possibly know but probably wouldn't want to disclose it (which is admirable) but probably want to put the work in to try to clear up if he is still alive or not. Michael Stabile might be the best person for someone to reach out to. He made the Chuck Holmes/Falcon documentary Seed Money. I think Falcon allowed him access to model releases to try to find people that performed for Falcon for this documentary. Don't think he mentioned Branson as one that he found or tried contacting for an interview, but if he still has all the notes he made from model releases, he could potentially clarify things. It's a big ask, but worth a try and if multiple people ask, he might be more inclined to go a little detective work.

Exactly! I can’t find any sources on gay porn sites saying or proving he had actually died. LOL. It's not until I go through a "where are they now" post that all these people from my past come to mind again. In the late 80s and early 90s, I was dating and hooking up with porn stars I'd meet at WeHo clubs and raves (something about me attracted porn stars), then when I got in the industry in late 90s I stopped having sex with possible conflicts of interest (I was involved with casting), but I still hung out and partied with them and the new people coming in. In the 90s we casted for Falcon, Hot House, Pacific Sun, Raging Stallion, (video and DVD companies) but after about 2005 it shifted to mostly websites like RB, SC, events like White Parties and the GAVN parties and gogo dancers for raves. I'm surprised I survived some of those parties. I only took stage a couple times but too modest to strip to less than jeans or workout shorts. It was fun, but my day job was accounting. LOL
There are some actors you knew were in it to book as much as possible, overused dr*gs and escorted, but there were others, like the ones I hung with and commented on, who had a modicum of self-control and full-time jobs, and knew porn was a stepping stone to earn money for education. He shot them both, Stacy managed to escape and hid for 19 hours in a field before police found her. She told them who the shooter was and then died moments later.
