Hi Guys,

Im new here and already asked a lot of questions.

But what is your advise of whats better/faster for the gians?

A pump or a Bathmate?

Maybe somebody used both and can make a good comparison...

I think a BM is more practical to use (and hide)...

Thnx again

I have a bathmate X30 and use it every day. If I made any change it would have been to get an X40. Girth for me has already maxed out in the X30. I have seen girth grow and a smaller growth in length. I have also become a shower VS a grower and when flaccid hang 4 to 5 inches. The last note is when erect I am now very hard. Prior to the x30 I was hard, but not as hard as when younger, now it is like a rock. I do 15 min cycles twice a day. Easy to pump, and do not need to be in bath or shower to get started. Never have to worry about over pumping which I see in the hard core pumpers. It is my choice for pumping.

Over-pumping can happen easily with an un-gauged pump, certainly. And definitely if you don't care oand want that blown-out look.
But there are pumps out there that have gauges on them such as mine:

As long as you're keeping an eye on that, you shouldn't have any issues with over-pumping.

I find the Bathmate (have the X30) a bit of a bother to use, the pumping action less than ideal. Having to push the cylinder into your crotch to get a bit of suction seems an awkward way to go, particularly compared to the hand pump seen here. I can easily get that same amount of negative pressure in just a few easy squeezes of the brass pump.

I'm also not sure how or why pumping out water instead of air is supposed to result in better... results.

That said, I've run into the same issue you did with my cylinder; I maxed out on the width already and I just got it a couple of weeks ago. OK, I basically maxed out right out of the gate. I ordered a tube 1/2" wider than me, as was recommended on several sites. Nope. I've now placed another order for a tube 1/2" wider still, so 1" wider in total, that should do me for a while. I may also order a 3" wide tube as I do like the feeling of having the entire package getting pumped, cock and balls.

But I'm too relatively new at all this to give much more than a cursory observation on the process and it's pros and cons between the two systems. So as I use both styles of pump, I may discover one is better than the other in the area of results and understand why that might be.

But right now, the hand pump, using air vacuum, looks to be my preferred system.

And yes, everything I've read (that seems reliable and not just sales pitches) indicates that pumps are mainly good at girth, not length.

Thanks for the feed back. Never tried the tubes so can't give feed back. Might order one just to check it out. I don't think 3 inches could take my dick and balls. The X30 which is 2 inches does not come close to pulling the balls in. I will have to read up on it.

Bathmate is tops. You will not see much of an increase in length but you will see a noticeable gain in girth. I went from about 5.7" girth to a hair under 6"--not earth -shattering , but as I said, noticeable.
Also , you will be extremely hard after just a few minutes with the Bathmate -- and ready to fuck.
A big , hanging cold sausage cock like you get with a regular pump might be great for taking pictures, but it's useless for sex.

How long do you use the BM en what are your gains?
Grtz!

I use it 15 to 20 mins twice a day. My girth was already 6 inches now is 6.4, my length which was 6.9 inches is now seven. I started with the X30 on July 10th. No pumping prior to the X30. The main thing I see is how hard my erections have become. I think the slow girth growth is due to having maxed out the tube on the x30. I need to order a bigger unit.

Thats great growth man. I feel your girth is a lot a head of mine. One day I will be able to pack a pump I hope.

Just for what it is worth, I wouldn't consider the Bathmate an easy to hide device. It's a lot bigger than it looks and, in many ways, more odd-looking than a simple cylinder and hand pump.

Tips for use:

1. You'll need to closely trim your bush or will never get a decent seal.
2. Even trimmed, a gob of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) around the end of the Bathmate helps a lot with the sealing.
3. It takes a fair amount of practice to get the Bathmate "installed" without sucking a significant amount of air into it. Practice, practice, practice. (unless you are going to do the whole thing while totally submerged in a deep tub/pool)

PS: As to hiding - with a regular pump, you can separate the tube and the pump, put them on your workbench, and half the people in this world would never make the connection. A Bathmate, on the other hand, cannot be made to look like anything other than what it is and, even if not immediately recognized, you can be sure to get some pretty tough questions along the lines of "what the hell is that thing?". :)

I use moisturizing cream. Have heavy pubes just trimmed to half inch and seldom have suction problems. I use the cream where the seal hits the body and on my cock as well.

funny, I just keep mine in the bathroom. Never have had a problem with anybody other than my wife seeing it and she is ok with the pumping.

Neither product will be more effective or faster. A vacuum is no different with water or air. If your skin doesn't make contact with("pack") the tube, the diameter doesn't matter. Pumps work with a very simple concept...negative pressure causes tissues to expand.

I agree that a pump should always have a gauge. This is in my opinion a serious omission of the Bathmate. For that reason, I would go with conventional quality metal hand pump and a good tube with air disconnect fittings.

Having used a Bathmate Goliath for over a year, I switched to a standard pump and cylinder for hydropumping with more impressive results.

I made a mistake ordering the Goliath, it is way too big and it was always a challenge to avoid my balls from getting sucked in. I did increase my girth a little with it but it wasn't much fun using it.
I already own 2 Thickwall Cylinders 9" x 2" and 10" x 2.25" so I decided to try the smaller one as a hydropumping device, I bought a water trap and used it afew times but it was too complicated and I still got water inside my hand pump which affected the gauge accuracy.

So I bought a cheap Chinese hand pump with no gauge and modified it to connect to my Thickwall cylinder https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Vac...ussy-pump-exhaust-tools-part/32683092655.html
I'm able to use it underwater and it gives greater control of the vacuum compared to the Bathmate. I have enough experience to dispense with the gauge and judge the vacuum pressure by feeling. There is a sweet spot just below the pain threshold where I can feel the penis shaft stretch, once this point is reached, tiny squeezes on the pump are all that is required to keep this stretch going for 10 minutes x 2.
Instead of the lymph fluid inflated sausage I ended up with from (air) vacuum and Bathmate pumping, I ended up with an impressive expansion which feels only slightly spongey. It took about a month of regular hydropumping 3-4 times per week for this to become my permanent size.
My length hasn't increased much, but my girth has increased significantly. It's very satisfying to hold all that extra girth and each week, I'm always amazed by the increased size (even though the increments are tiny)
On the down side, if I pumped too close to the pain threshold, I would cause excessive blood spotting. This would dissipate after a day or two, I applied arnica gel to the areas as soon as I got out of the bath. I experienced severe discoloration when I used to vacuum pump regularly which took a year of not pumping to fade.

If I didn't have so many cylinders already, I probably would have bought a Bathmate X50 Xtreme, it looks more comfortable than my system.

just to clarify why water is being used instead of air: most of our body is compromised of water. by using water for the vaccum pressure, it's easier to overcome homeostasis, though since we're "animals" we also have the issue of the bloating of the skin form absorbing some of the water in the first place :s.

IMO both of them have their pros and cons. An airpump is easier if you have roommates that you're not comfortable knowing about your intimate activities. A bathmate is great if you have reliable and constant availability of a bathtub.
