Pumping Technique

Just started my use of a pump yesterday.. Fucking hell it sucks it greedily in and pumps up wonderful.. When I measured prior I am 6.5".. Pumped in tube it's 7.5".. And wow does my cock feel king.. Cannot get harder.. It is gonna be a regular event..
I am using Vaseline for lube and no problems except it can hurt over pumped of course, so let the pressure down.. I Dont want vein pops..
 
...Because some pumps are wayyyyyyy better than others. Some I pack more, some less. Some I get red spots, some I get edema, some I get both, some I get neither. Within this year of information I've collected there is likely some "golden formula" for me that equals zero red spots and edema, the fullest pump I can achieve and within the optimum amount of time.
I deal with data for a living and making observations and experimentation. It's just all so interesting, the variety of pump quality and outcomes from day to day. I'm close to collating all this information and plan to run some analysis on it all. I will update here in the near future with my findings if anyone cares :)

It seems you get bruised very easily. That's a shame because I think you might be missing out on some good hours-long VLP (Very Low Pressure) sessions and they are amazing! I love the fact that you're taking down all this data - I have a JOL (Jerk Off Log) that I try to keep up to date but find it extremely hard to do... (no pun intended?) It's good information when you're trying to remember what brought you to a certain point of ecstasy at a given time and you'd really like to replicate it. I'm not sure results can be ascertained for long term results because of the amount of time it takes to gain even get a millimeter... but it certainly is worth the try! Please keep us posted!

No bruising, I've never bruised. I do get red spots but they are mostly gone by the end of the night or fade away by noon the next day. I do get edema on my foreskin but it either goes away within a few hours or by nighttime (so about 6-8 hours after I've pumped).
I do think I'm pumping at low pressure, it's always under 5hg and when I do get to 5hg it's for a minute. Every now and then (more then) I'll pull up to 10 minutes at 5hg. It seems that when I'm in the tube for more than 10 minutes, that's how I get edema. But honestly some pumps I get red spots within a minute or two, while other pumps I'll go 50 or more minutes and not have one single speck. How is this possible? Why the fluctuations so much??? It doesn't make sense. I feel like after a solid year I should be "acclimated" and my cock shouldn't get these issues, especially when I'm pumping between 3-4hg and really pacing myself, really making sure I jelq between sets in the tube and getting good blood flow going the whole time.

Maybe I should just stay at 3hg or even a little lower (as long as there's enough suction for a good seal!!) for longer? My best swelling and fattest cock comes when I exceed 45 minutes of tube time. I just absolutely love it! I'm afraid of going too long though. I've pulled a handful of sessions that hit the 60 minute mark, and less that go to 70 minutes. 8 years ago I used to pump for up to 90 minutes in the tube and those sessions were really amazing, but I don't remember the condition my cock was in then; I know I didn't have an injury that made me think about it. I've never even had a blister!!!

So what's the deal with how to have a safe, really long pump? What do you need to do to go for 90 minutes, even 120? How long are your sets in the tube? What is your warm up like and how long? I don't have all the time in the world, but in a few weeks I could pull an hour+ or even longer session no problem. Just want to do it right! Right now I try to pump, at best, at least twice a week, sometimes if I have the time, 3 times a week. Looking at my notes I never seem to get more than 8 or 9 pumps in a month. And when I take days off between pumps my first time back is solid: extreme pumped up swelling, no injuries or marks, no problems. Thanks for any tips you or anyone else can share!! I've been on Thunder's a good bit but I can't really find the info I'm looking for there.

try using a water based lube, clean up is much easier.

I pump for 10 minutes, break for 10 min, pump for 10. maybe 15 minutes, then jelq. also, when I am pumping I do the move cylinder up & down rapidly, allows some circulation and addl blood flow. pumping is really stretching and clamping. I don't have a gauge, but I know I'm using high pressure. I haven't had any problems. I'm trying to gain length. I was stuck on 7.25" before I started pumping about 10 yrs ago. now I'm consistently 7.5". to 7.75". and have hit 8" a few times. I didn't need any girth but it seems to come easier than length. I'm 6.5" plus. my whole shaft has gotten thicker over time. after pumping I am really thick. I really enjoy the feeling and the look pumping achieves for me. gives me one heckuva bulge.
 
I use Vaseline also. I have a huge pump where I put my nuts and cock into . I pump on and off for about an hour before I go to the gym. I do have a gauge on it, but I don’t look at it. If the pressure is too high , it hurts, so I let it down a little. I walk around the house with my pump on , make coffee and get ready for the gym. I like when my big fuckn nuts and cock hit my thigh as I put on my shorts and head out.

It's been a while, but I think I remember that I would start off with a higher, almost ambient, air pressure and just gradually decrease the pressure as long as it was comfy (or more exactly, exciting!) As your skin stretches, and it will, you can increase the differential (decrease the tube air pressure) as your penis grows within the tube and work your way towards an edge. It's fantastic, and I think some of those l-o-n-g sessions were some of the best sex I've ever had in my life. Two and three+ hours were not uncommon. For me, the trick to it was go slow and only gradually build up the vacuum. Set aside some time, of course.
 
I used to go three - four hours at a time, when I could... and lots of pressure (negative, of course.) Hurt myself a couple of times between getting my balls suddenly sucked in and blisters but I tried not to make the same mistakes over and over. Experiment. Enjoy.

...and yes, I was able to fill* a 2 1/2" tube width-wise and got just over 7" long a few times.
