Interesting observations. I saw clockwise to begin with, and struggled to see counterclockwise, with little success at first. When I finally forced myself to perceive the CCW turning, her lower foot (upon which she appears to be jumping) was still turning CW! I suppose that means I'm right-brain dominant.
It is odd, though, because even though I'm a fairly accomplished musician, I'm not terribly creative, science and math come very easily to me, and I'm right handed.
I don't remember where I read such things, but I do remember reading some other commentaries on one-side dominance in the brain. One that I thought was puzzling was the theory that those few left-handed people who write completely upside-down (I've only know a couple of them) had left-brain dominance. It didn't make sense to me, though, because I've never seen a right-handed person who wrote sideways or completely upside down, and you'd think that there were a few righties who had right-brain dominance.
Another test I heard about years ago was to hold your hands in front of you, shoulder height, shoulder width apart, and quickly bring your hands together, interlacing your fingers. Supposedly, whichever thumb ended up on top indicated your brain dominance. I don't recall if it was the same side or opposite side...
