In Junior High School in the mid 1960's, I got The Paddle twice from an Assistant Principal. Back in school days, we had to wait our turn with pants off. It wasn't unusual to be somewhat enlarged, even semi-erect when your name was called and you went in to present your butt to The Paddle.
