Here’s some possible scenarios for you Sam as we all know you read this forum. First, just own up to this crap. Acknowledge you screwed up, acknowledge that you thought you were going to get away with this because of you’re privilege (you have more than one layer of privilege btw). Please don’t do some cookie cutter apology video about “I plan to do better” message. Yes, sucks for you right now. But you should feel crappy because you literally put others in danger. That’s incredibly selfish. Own that. Second, you’re going to come back to the USA. Do everyone a favor and please stay home for the rest of January. Don’t post anything on your social media because anything that comes out of you right will seem insincere and you’re going to get more shit for it. Third, you’ve lost credibility with others and probably career credibility as well. So now is the time to work on a back up plan. Do something else. Look, it seems like you’re a talented person with many skills but you’re not executing them to their potential. Work on that. Things won’t be the same when you emerge again. Fourth, I know you’re really great friends with others in you’re social media circle but it’s time to rethink how much you guys influence each other. Also, I know sex appeal sells and that how you get a following base but looks fade. Don’t always post a shirtless pic or some clickbait crap. You won’t have that forever. My fellow gays, y’all know we’re going to follow him (in time) back when he starts posting again in the future. But keep people like him accountable. As for Jake, you’re going through some hard shit. You fucked up, probably lost jobs and opportunities. Think about how you’re decisions impacted you’re future. Own your privilege as well. Whether or not you make some public statement is up to you. I’m sadden how many people that your hands have been healing you have disrespected by going to such a gathering. We all want some public statement I think. It just needs to really be thoughtful and take time. As you both can see us gays can read you like the Dewey decimal system so don’t be playing the victim card. That’s it.
