Actually it was never officially stated that he's gay/queer. It started with a reviewer saying that he "MIGHT be struggling with coming out to his family as gay." I guess that's how the reviewer interpreted his storyline but based on the interviews and everything else that was never the point.

I think he's still gay. He did check out that random guy at the pool in iirc episode 2 and did gaze at his brother's ass in episode 2. Lochlan as a people pleaser would never admit to his brother that he jerked him off out of even a smidge of sexual desire since Saxon 100% would not take that well.
