Scarfs

What is up with the guys wearing the black/white scarves with the fringe? I wear my cashmere scarfs when it's cold out, but otherwise I don't wear them all day. I think they make anyone look gay, and I am a gay guy myself, but would never be caught wearing one of those scarfs. Is it a trendy fashion statement, as I don't wear trendy clothes I am more of a traditional Armani kind of guy.

IMO it is an allegedly trendy fashion statement which needs to die. Especially since women wear them too. They end up looking like ill-kept Bedouins.
