The overt materialism on his social media is almost out of control now. I have zero issue with him dating older guys - that's completely normal - but marrying one after a few weeks/months of knowing them and then going on outrageous shopping sprees doesn't speak well for anyone.
I must be looking at a different IG account as I don't see all the " look at my shiny new presents" that some see. If I was nice looking and loaded I would hope I could find someone as ridiculously gorgeous and sweet as Scott. He is only young and gorgeous once. Let him enjoy it. I've had men shower me with nice things for my company in the past and I mostly really enjoyed it.

He is a "gay" gay male. I find nothing wrong with this. I used to know lots of them but most of them died of AIDS in the 90's. Since then more gay men are out but there is more conforming regarding only masculine behavior being the only acceptable way for gay men to be. I think that is why there is more of a resurfacing of drag queens in entertainment. Just my opinion.
