Send you pics then ...nothing!

I would love to be able to use a face pic as my avatar, but I would totally be canned from my job. I'm supposed to conduct myself in a professional manner. And putting pictures of my dick online probably conflicts with that :(

That's ok you have a yummy dick, hahaha. :biggrin1:

Hey!

ya know when you meet some crazy hot body on here,
you swap email addy`s so that you can email each other face shots to get to know each other better. You get all excited send away your face shot in anticipation for the one you should recieve in return ,then it happens...... hours turn into days and days into weeks. no reply! What the fuck!
If your a less than average looking guy and think your the only one this happens to your wrong, it happens to me ALOT and i`m far from ugly( don`t mean to be cocky it`s just truth)

What`s the damn deal! Just let me down if you must, just dont leave me hanging!!!!!

yeah i just think that would be kind of rude...don't let it get you down though

off to the land of big smoke with you then! or lotus land, your best choices!

yeah, the disadvantage of hooking up online is this one, among others. people just rely on looks to determine whether they want to go on or not. but if you try to meet in real life, the chance is far larger. and she's not worth your time. Some guys here also tend to ignore when they feel like it, when I messaged them, but then fuck them. Seriously, fuck them.

Hey Smart24.... Typical move by people on line. It's easy to do nothing! RUDE for sure! I always answer all the e-mail sent to me. If I have an unwanted advance I thank the person for the nice comments and tell them I'm not interested or available.

Your not asking much of the guy just to reply. I look at it this way, he showing you he a shallow and selfish person not worth your time!

Maybe he will read what others have said and next time just reply.......Sorry I'm not into Zebras.....:)-

BTW...you sure are hung like a Zebra!

I usually only email my face photos and other private information to certain people on this site because we have a particular interest in each other before hand. For me a lot of it is what people write and how they express themselves not just their photos. What I've actually found is that some of the most attractive people physically end up also being attractive on the inside. In addition I'm an open and inquisitive person so I actually enjoy meeting different kinds of people. I'm not especially looking for a partner or even a hook up on here so maybe my expectations are more realistic.

I think I posted on this topic before somewhere.... I wouldn't take it personally though it's hard not to.

It's really all about the sight unseen fantasy. The minute you and the other party start communicating with each other, both of you start conjuring up unrealistic fantasies about the other based on the nuances of the conversation (and probably the dick pics) and based on your subconscious desire to find your most perfect trick/lover/companion.

Then one of you usually blows it by sending a face or full body pic and reality rears it's non-fantasy matching, I can no longer lie to myself head and the truth can no longer be ignored: HEYYYY!!! YOU DON'T MEASURE UP TO MY FANTASY! And BAM!, suddenly one of you is history. One of you slinks away disappointed that the other failed the fantasy test.

I agree with the guys about posting a real avatar. It cuts through the crap and leaves one less undesirable aspect of communicating via the net in the dust.

Oh, and I don't post my avatar because I only use this site to express my opinion and to jerk off to the stories..... ;-)

I stopped doing online dating for the reason that it was very difficult for me to get excited about the photogrpahs of the men who were available. When I was doing it, I chose never to contact or even respond to someone who did not have their photo up in the first place because I didn't want to have to reject them if I wasn't attracted to their photo. Pluse, in online dating there's always the assumption that if someone doesn't have their photo up, they may already be married.

I realise this site is a bit different, a little racier in tone, which is why I like joining in the banter here. But I think when people make the commitment to meet one another in real life, they are going to have the same standards as with online dating and well, that might explain it all.

Since I work from home in particular, the banter is good, saves me from hassling a friend by phone. But, I am too scared to take the risk of meeting someone in real life.

When I send a face pic I really don`t expect a reply;)

You still sending your face pic out, even after that FBI incident??

To the OP, I believe that the internet has unfortunately reduced the need for courtesy in some . I couldn't agree with you more...at least be decent enough to reply with a "changed my mind" type response.

Thankyou all for your great replies! You've really helped. I guess I just need to grow a set and get out into the real world to meet people and use this for making friends and jerk off sessions.

hey. It never happened to me to be honest.
I send my face pic very rarely, but if I do, then all of the receivers answered me and still wanted to meet sometimes even more than wanted lol.
I m not saying tht.. im very handsome or something like that... but I consider myself as a goodlooking guy...

Happened to me once. I got the vibe before chatting and sending nude body shots that it wasn't really a woman, but a guy after pics. I decided to go for it as I didn't send any face pics. As soon as I sent the pics, she/he took off.

Even on the swinger sites like Adult Friend Finder there are alot of 'fantasy' players- ones who talk the talk but can't walk the walk. I see alot of profiles there of fed up people-alot of them very attractive by most people's standards- saying they are tired of time wasters and fakers. I wouldn't take anything like this personally.

I never expect a return pic and if I get one I never believe it. Of the guys who actually send a pic, a large chunk of them send one from 5,10,15, or 20 years ago. People are often just collecting pic, looking for a fantasy (that just shattered because you became "real"), or just have bad manners. I have experienced getting a pic of someone that was not attractive to me, but still sent one back with a polite "sorry not my type" message. We are adults and do know not everyone is attracted to the same "look". I feel if someone sends me a pic I should at least acknowledge it and return the gesture.

I think you have hit the nail on the head! Lots are just collectors and when that fantasy turns to reality they go a running!

If someone is not my type physically I still reply with a respectful note as I would expect the same in return. I agree that most of us here are adults and should behave in a way that reflects that. Giving a response in a mature manner should be the norm but some people just don't extend that courtesy.

It is annoying, but I take it as flattery. I send them a picture of myself, they look at it, lose control and blow their load looking at my whatever.

If you have something like a "Personal Conduct Policy" then yes, you can be fired for "social networking" activities. Not just those here at LPSG. If you use your computer at work, or work time, to visit online places, you can also be fired if your company has a written policy in place.

However, there are so many reasons to not post your face pic. It can be used against you in so many ways. Also, just because someone sends you a pic of a face does not mean it is their face. Anyone can take a pic of your face that you sent them and do something you didn't expect with it. Be wary.

Basically, this place is mostly for fantasy. Everyone likes looking at lovely "bodies." And someone might (and probably does) think you look totally different than you really do.

One person might think you are too good looking for them. Another might think you are not their type. Another might find you beautiful.

I wouldn't take it to personally. Maybe there are people here who just want to know what people look like so they connect and ask for face pics for no other reason?
