mekkler: A little re-arranging and gentle squeezing will create a smooth rounded area safe for shaving, then change position slightly. That and a disposable razor works very well.
buddy43610: i shave my sac every morning in the shower. i use some shaving jel that is "specially formulated" for the bikini area and a mach3 razor. i only have to change the blade every 3 months. if you shave every morning it is easily done. if you do it less, it can be more uncomfortable. i grab a hand full of sac with one hand and shave with the other. then i rearrange and even switch hands. i've never had any serious cuts but have looked down after the shower and seen some blood, but some tissue or neosporin or a styptic pencil will fix it.

I always shave in the shower and simply feel for any stubble I may have missed and whisk it off. I have no need for a mirror except to trim my sideburns with my Wahl electric shaver. (I know I probably sound like I have stock in Gillette but I don't). :'( But I agree with you; "be very careful" with All of the other shavers I have used (and tossed).

When I had my vasectomy I had to shave my balls prior to the operation.
Since I've been shaving the bottom part of my penis for years (I hate those hairs that grow up the side) it wasn't that much more difficult.
After soaking in the bath I got out some shaving cream and a premium quality razor. You shouldn't be using a disposable razor anyway, but definitely don't use a cheap or used blade on your jimmies.
The skin can be pulled and stretched a bit. Just pull it out a bit, lather up, and gently shave. It shouldn't be any more difficult than shaving your chin or moustache area. You shouldn't nick yourself if you're careful. And, no, it doesn't hurt if you lightly nick it.
The thing I discovered was that after my operation the hairs starting growing back and it got itchy within several days. If you regularly shave this area it's not a problem but in my case I simply had to let them grow out because I had dissolving sutures in there due to my operation.
I've never shaved my balls completely ever again, although I do shave/trim them up a bit where the skin meets my penis. I like to keep that somewhat neat, but I'd never want my balls to be bald. I have better things to spend my time on.
