Things might be different in your country, but I know here there isn't really anything that unacceptable about not getting dressed quickly. Especially older men just seem to hang out naked and stand in places where they don't really need to be.

If you really want people to see you, you should keep in mind that some people really don't want to be forced to see you at the gym they are paying for. But, I see plenty of people shower in the open, they don't close the curtain. Sometimes they dry themselves off right outside the shower, then again at their locker, and sometimes they have to make a few trips to get a new towel to dry off and obviously do that naked. Other than that I think the obvious thing is the sauna or steam room if you have either. From my experience, about 50% of the people in either are interested in at least looking.

Since you mentioned getting out of the shower to be seen, I'm assuming that you do not have open showers. Are there any gyms with open showers that you could consider switching to? I also enjoy being seen naked (and not appear to be overly trying to be seen naked), so I've generally tried to find open shower gyms. In addition to in the shower itself, I find that nudity is more acceptable throughout the locker room when there are open showers, so I'm not breaking any cultural norms by walking naked to and from the shower. This means that pretty much every time I work out several men see my penis just as a matter of normal routine

People approach work stress in many ways. Some simply bottle it up, and it leaks out as inappropriate venting on another person, or animals, or objects. Others try to bury it, with alcohol, drugs, food, or sex. With the latter, it is a coping mechanism, in that they try to replace a negative emotion with a positive one.

For example, work is difficult, stressful, and they don't feel valued. After work, they drink and the alcohol makes them feel better. Or, they do a line of coke, or smoke a joint, or eat a favorite food. It is all about replacing the negatives from work by doing something that makes them feel better on some level.

There are great ways to deal with stress, while others can potentially be quite harmful. For instance, drinking on a regular basis can lead to alcoholism. Eating compulsively can lead to obesity, etc.

Regardless of what coping mechanism is used, the stress still remains. So, doing something to try to deal with it doesn't remove the source of the discomfort, anxiety, or feeling of being devalued.

For yourself, you are using sex and exhibitionism to try to increase your self esteem. Personally, I would choose simply working out at the gym, rather than using the gym as a vehicle to deal with work stress in an unhealthy way. Working out in itself will make you feel healthier, more relaxed, and that will help improve your self image.

Gotcha. I've been naked in front of co-workers numerous times over the years, mostly in gym locker rooms...some with open showers, some without. Obviously the open showers have more opportunities for extended nudity, but I managed to work enough in gyms without them. The easiest way is to change by getting stuff in and out of my gym bag (rather than the locker), so i'd place the gym bag on the bench and face outward while changing. I know you don't want to do anything that seems like you're obviously trying to show, but I think that the brief spurts of nudity while changing in and out of underwear are acceptable in even the most prudish of locker rooms.
