I always have a fresh face cloth in the bathroom for guests who might want to use one and it's alway washed after one use, if it's just family I usually change the towels once a day unless they get very damp, if guests come I give them two bath towels and a hand towel and tell them to tell me when they need new ones. I don't really stick to any hard and fast towel rules - is there some sort of Towel Hand Book I should be consulting

I don't use a washcloth.
I reuse the towel.
I change the bathwater once a week.

Plus, do you know how much bacteria can grow on a warm, wet washcloth?

Did you know that it is possible for bacteria to grow on a bar of soap as well?

I use a washcloth or a loofa sponge thing because they help remove dead skin cells. Towels get used 2 or 3 times.
