Showers or baths with friends? Have you ever had a bath or a shower with a friend?

Well, here in Finland it's nothing strange to have sauna, a bath together naked. It's very common even mixed. Nowadays maybe not happen so often, because most have access to own sauna. Having sauna and being nude together is just normal here and nothing strange as some guy write here! :)
This naturalness of being naked with other people is unusual in America. It's a cultural thing. Mixed saunas are practically impossible, because they would probably lead to accusations of sexual harassment. Genitals, breasts and buttocks must be covered, especially the genitals. That's how it works in America.

Yes, I think I've heard the US becoming more puritan. When you go to a private home sauna here it's of course up to everybody, mixed or separate. In some cities there's also times for mixed audience or then men and women at separately. As far as I know it's nothing sexual there. Everybody spend time together naturally. Then of course there's special clubs with sauna for also sexual activities, but that's another thing.

When I was younger I was definitely more closed off and shy. I remember being intimidated by the showers and locker rooms in high school. I was in decent shape and didn't have a tiny penis so it wasn't that, it was mostly like this belief that nobody should see me or that nakedness is something that only happens alone.

Being in the military definitely changed my attitude. I got to learn that it didn't matter and that nobody really cared. And for me it kind of a bonding thing. I liked the fact that these were people that I trusted enough to not care that I was naked.

Like even now, whether it's at the gym, or a sauna, or a Korean spa...each have become places that I associate as something to do with my friends. I think it's great for building trust and tearing down egos and it's made me closer with my friends that share the experience with me.

A few times back in the day after raves. We'd have group showers, a few baths but I'm 5'11" so if I'm in a regular bathtub there's not much room for others. Fun exciting but mostly in a silly way. And honestly by the time everyone gets home after a rave you can tell everyone stinks. Had a few laughs jumping in with some girls since I was the gay guy.

I once visited Taiwan together with a colleague for a conference. Due to past historical events they have a strong Japanese spa culture, which we learnt about during one of our daytrips from Taipei in our free time. We got curious and decided to try it out. I had happend to bring some swimwear for the day; he had not. It turned out that it did not matter, as the facilities were gender separated, which meant that nakedness was expected. He was comfortable in his nakedness as we walked between the pools and saunas among 20 or so locals, while I spent the hour fighting a boner that over and over attempted to make itself known. (I have always had somekind of kink for skinny dipping, so this was kind of expected). Overall, however, a pretty nice bonding experience, as I did not know him that well.
