Do any of yall pull your pants down juuuusssttt enough so it shows what underwear youre wearing?

Im not talking about sagging. just showing the waistband to give people a hint at what youre wearing under there when your shift lifts up or you bend down and stuff.

I do it whether im wearing briefs, boxerbriefs or boxers. but if im wearing briefs or boxerbriefs, i usually only do it when im wearing my calvins and underarmour, not the hanes haha.

Anyone else?

A late 20-something with an honest question - no hate intended:

What is the appeal of showing other people your underwear?

I know trends exist and they're not meant for everyone to get or participate in. And I know someone famous starts just about every trend. I just wonder what you say as to why you like doing it.

Maybe being a father of a few kids already in life changes my perspective.

I usually don't let my pants sag, usually because they're pretty tight, but I don't do the boxer thing.

I usually wear string bottoms so you could glimpse the cord on my hip bone if my shirt is high enough.

Surely guys do this because of the "tease" factor, the same thing that differentiates a great stripper from a merely adequate one. A waistband says I'm wearing underwear; aren't you curious about it? and if you are, then you're curious about my cock and balls , etc.

When I'm not wearking my work clothes (business casual, button down shirt, etc..), I do. Hey, I like being a bit of a tease, and I've busted more than one guy checking out my mid-section when I lift my arms up and my waist area becomes exposed. Alternatively, I also look for ANY opportunity see what kind of underwear a guy is wearing. Nothing hotter (to me, anyway) than busting a guy wearing 2xist.

I ABSOLUTELY agree...I don't know why but I find it a big turn on when you can see a guys underwear waistband, lol...whatever floats my boat! hahaha

I decided pictures were needed to illustrate the hotness.

We must be on the same boat, then.

Pictures were definitely needed, and you delivered! Thank you. :biggrin1:

for me its kind of a way to compare whats popular out there. and i feel like i need to contribute if im benefitting from wandering eyes!

This is true, and so do I. On a side note, I've seen a steady, but obvious decline in boxers, and that makes me quite happy. That is one fad I'm GLAD to see a reduction of frequency in.

I can't speak for everyone, but yes, I do it for the tease factor. I get a little bit of a rush off of it, especially if I bust someone checking me out. I would imagine that the same is true for other guys. However, I know some cuts of underwear, paired with a particular rise of jeans, creates a scenario where the exposure of the underwear waistband just simply can't be avoided.

Being a father enhances your perspective? Yeah, sounds like you are more responsible and mature.

I don't get it either. It's nobody's business what sort of underwear I am wearing. We aren't in the lockerroom changing clothes, so what does it matter?

I feel a bit "exposed" if my boxers peek out of shorts pants leg. So I'd make an adjustment to make sure my underwear isn't showing. Why do I have to "prove" I am wearing underwear, when that would be the assumption anyway?

Not that I am "shy" or anything. I have nothing against tit bumps showing through a T-shirt, as I am not ashamed of my body. Rather, people who are confident of who they are, have the less, if anything, to prove to anybody.

I'm also not impressed with trends or fads. I guess younger people, or the immature, may be more into the latest fad trend.

I dont do it intentionally. If I am just in regular clothes (not for work or special function) its normally a shirt or tshirt and some slacks or jeans. I rarely wear a belt so my pants sit a little below my underwear line. If my shirt raises up someone will see my underwear but its no biggie.

So is that why I usually wear a belt? Not just for more "proper" dress? I like to dress casual\comfortable, but I usually wear a belt.

I guess it's not so much a big deal, if a bit of waistband shows accidentally, or if somebody bends over and shows a little of butt-crack, but they shouldn't do it intentionally. We should act like we have a few standards of decency.

Decency? What's indecent about showing the waistband of your underwear?:biggrin1: I mean I don't do it myself because I don't, not because I have any problem with it. Fashions change, styles and ways of wearing clothes change.

People thought it was indecent and uncouth for men not to wear hats back in the days when all men wore them, and eventually that changed and men hardly ever wear hats these days.

it's just a fashion trend... guys are showing more and more... just like girls have been showing their body for years...

showing underwear waistband has acually been around for quite some time... sagging is another trend... and i've been to Paris recently where fashion is always 1-2 years ahead and I can tell you... guys are showing bulge and dick now with pants and underwear designed to do just that...

just get used to it... it's not going away

I must say I didn't notice men showing dick in the Spring/Summer 2012 Paris shows when I was covering them live in my other incarnation as a fashion blogger (or for that matter on the streets of Paris when I was there last winter) But the rest of your point is probably fair.

I never sag with my trousers really low, but I love showing off my waist band and just the top little bit of boxers, but that's why I buy nice boxers. I love it when I reach up and know that my top has come up a bit, revealing my lower stomach and top of my boxers, I have started working out a bit more so am pretty tight down there with some definition too, why not show it off with my nice new pair of boxerbriefs or whatever, does nobody harm, if you don't like it, don't look. If you do, enjoy the view!

Yes I will enjoy the view. hahaha!

There is a slight cheeky peek of the waistband (As I often do), and there is full-on sagging, which to me, is such a fowl and ugly look, and quite obscene.

If I wanna see a pair of PJ's, I'll look at me own.

I also seam to remember one town in the states actually banning the act of sagging, and quite rightfully so.

I think it is SUPPOSED to be cute - like a wee toddler whose trousers are too big and falling down. The reason it is cute on toddlers is because they are unaware of it, and they are innocent; adults do it intentionally, and it is no longer cute - I think it is positively tacky and very trailer-trash.

Oh my gosh it's gotten to the point of indecency! I bet those people who made that chart live in that "Footloose" town where dancing leads to having sex! I rarely wear under garments but when I do I keep them a secret. But indecency to showing a waist band of your knickers? What is the world coming to? The elders of the community must be in a tizzy to make something so benign become indecent.
