I would suggest to start in the missionary position for intercourse. But, make sure you are relaxed to begin with, horny (duh), and wet. Otherwise you will need lube. A good way to stretch out prior to penetration is to have him push two fingers in you and you tighten up your PC muscle and have him push against it and then relax, his fingers will begin to have a looser fit. From my own experience, the best position for your first time (assuming you want to be able to relax as much as possible) is to be flat on your stomach. Being on your back with your legs in the air may make you too worried about farting or whatever to be able to truly relax and let your guy in.
And use LOTS of lube. Better to use too much the first time than not enough. In time, you'll figure out how much you really need.
