My other issue as an ass guy is these new loincloths are a LOT less revealing and make the fight scenes a lot less interesting to watch. They're basically wearing big diapers and skirts.

I didn't understand why the nudity looks so fake. You can use prosthetic/CGI and still make it look believable. We have a bunch of examples where the audience was fooled by prosthetic dicks (for example, Manu Bennett in the original series, there was a lot of discussion if it was real or not). But with this spin-off, it looks like as if the producers wanted the dicks to look fake.
It's almost as if they don't want us to doubt that the nudity is fake. I can't understand why.
The only prosthetic in the original was the guy with the horsecock- for obvious reasons. Manu Bennett and mostly everyone else was very real (inarguable).
They should've just gone the no nudity route than these distracting plastic dicks attached to their actors. This is a no-name cast full of unheard of actors so it's crazy they couldn't find a good cast willing to do nudity but the women have to?? Trash.
