Spencer Sabe / Spencer Conoce

I don't think his faith is hypocritical. I know he has gay friends, and maybe he's gay himself and prefers discretion. That's fine! But even on his travels, he's never been seen with a boyfriend or in a photo kissing another man. He's definitely not on a gay dating app or anything like that.
That we know of!
I know many many gay men who are very lowkey not because they are homophobic but because they just live their sexuality without putting it out there
You may be talking to them and they’re like “yeah my husband” or “my boyfriend” and you’re like ohhh I thought you were straight lol

Mmm

Mmm I consider myself a progressive catholic if you could call it that way. I have my faith and I also travel with a rosary because it makes me feel protected, but also, I’m gay and pro choice
Are you from "middle-of-nowhere-America"? Bcs that is what would make the difference.

He's a Christian extremist basically, he will never come out if he's gay. I mean the dude travels on planes holding a rosary... That says enough.

I’m sorry, but this statement reflects a deeply prejudiced perspective. It bears clear traces of anti-Catholic bias and cultural hostility. Among individuals from Catholic backgrounds, rosaries are commonly carried as amulets of protection and personal devotion. To suggest that the mere act of holding a rosary on an airplane is indicative of Christian extremism reveals a significant lack of cultural and religious literacy.

Moreover, as a Brazilian, I find this caricature of Catholics deeply troubling. In Brazil, a majority of the Catholic population supports LGBT rights, a fact that underscores how misplaced such stereotyping is. A more careful, informed, and respectful engagement with people’s faiths, traditions, and lived social contexts would be both more accurate and more constructive.

So do I. Just like you and Daniel Spencer, I occasionally have my rosary with me when I travel. I'm a Brazilian Catholic, and, until I read that comment, I had no idea my rosary was perceived by some as being indicative of religious extremism. lol I found it hilarious. As I mentioned to that gentleman, here in Brazil a majority of Catholics are pro-LGBT, so this caricature of Catholics as extremists is foreign to me. We haven't burned people at the stake for quite some time now. lol

Warning: the following picture is religiously extreme.

It's not about being pro gay or not... It's just not a "cool" thing to do. If my bf would take out a rosary when we board a plane I'd seriously question if he's the guy I want next to me. Like wtf... Who even owns a rosary under 60?! And if you own it for fashion purposes, it ain't 2001 when Dolce and Gabbana made it a fashionable trend. That ended by 2004...

Okay…well that’s you and if that’s a non negotiable for you well that’s okay, although it’s not okay to mock or belittle someone just for their beliefs, it’s not okay to try to change a person.

But again, that’s you and you’re entitled to your own likes.

I believe he's a young gay man going through that phase of sassyness so many of us experienced: "I'm really sharp. My tongue is a razor. I have a comeback to everything others say, and I don't show reverence to anything because I'm that mean bitch ".

Anyway. I blocked him. I really want to hear some gossip about Spencer... Nothing so far.
