Merriam-Webster defines "leaking" as "to become known despite efforts at concealment" (example: "confidential information leaked out"), so since his Twitter content was public, no leaking happened (as others have already pointed out). Semantics aside, I think this is the root of the issue: why would he consider to be losing something when people were reposting free content? If people are willingly distributing his free content (as opposed to being paid to do that) to an audience he wasn't necessarily reaching on Twitter (as evidenced from previous posts, there were people who didn't even know he had a new Twitter account), that's just free/organic marketing. If anything, his OF content (the one that's actually paid) should only benefit from the extra visibility.
