When in 8th and 9th grade belonged to the local YMCA. All swimming was without trunks. Fast forward, lived in the country removed some distance from neighbors. Suntanned in the nude. Relaxed in the hot tub nude. Presently belong to a nudist resort. I attend there 3- 5 times a week. Nude hot tubing and swimming. Hiking nude and just sitting around chatting nude. Too bad society is so hung up on seeing the beautiful form known as the human body.

Boys and guys swimming nude was common for most of history, I suspect, and for 50 years it was common and even required in schools that had indoor pools, which girls wore suits. Early pool filters getting clogged with the lint from early suits and therefore harboring bacteria when Polio and other illnesses were a big concern was part of it, but it was simply a continuation of common practice with naked guys swimming together for ages. Too bad we lost all of that in the late 60's and early 70's. Sigh. Seems quite natural to someone my age. But absolutely horrifying to boys of today.

they should allow nude swimming again but just optional only .... guys should be allowed nude swimming if they want
Growing up in the South on large piece of land in the 80's gave me the chance to swim naked with many friends.
We had a steam fed swimming hole that was always clean and cool, just right for all us country boys to swim. It was just normal for us to strip off and jump in. All of us were circumcised then and made no big deal about checking each other out
