Didn’t even know Jeff worked. I just assumed he was living off YouTube as well since they changed the name of the channel to include both. Nice to hear one of them actually has a “regular” job.

Have you never watched any of their livestreams or their video about what they were doing during the earliest part of the lockdowns? They reference him working in IT several times on their channel. Hell, I think he might have even mentioned it in the video where Taylor first introduced him to us.
It's the biggest reason why they still have an apartment in Manhattan; it's close to where he works.

I thought they still had the nyc apartment because they couldn’t leave the hectic city life and they had just bought land upstate because it was cheaper than owning real estate in the city.
They have a new apartment in NYC and upstate. When did they get a house on Long Island?

They sold the one-bedroom apartment they originally had, but bought a much smaller studio apartment close to Jeff's work. They haven't really shown it off or done a tour video like their old place or their house, but they've filmed in that place and the walls look different from their old place.
I thought that place wasn’t theirs.
I remember on one of the videos that they were paying for the renovations to the apartment instead of paying rent or something like that. But they were definitely not the owners.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if they'd said it was bought or rented, but the point was that they got a new place in Manhattan for commuting purposes. They seem to be staying there during the workweek as Taylor occasionally does Instagram Story Q&As from inside his car while he's waiting to move it for street sweeping whereas the house in Long Island seems to be their residence during weekends and days off.

i vaguely remember them convincing their landlord/property owner to renovate the place, and somehow the landlord/property owner said yes. they got so lucky wow.
Yeah, that's exactly what happened.

I know Taylor advertised another floor in the same building for the landlord, Taylor would like to be the agent
