I didn't love or hate the Sterek ship. I watched the show later - thinking, oh I've got Buffy, and that's enough - so watching it, I thought that the ship was a bit overblown, same as Stydia. And while I like the show, a bit more of a commitment to grounding its characters, and clarifying the mythology instead of introducing new supernatural villains, would've gone a long way to making those ships stronger.
That said, I love a show with a bunch of thirsty moments from attractive men.
