Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help please

I didn't know where to put this

Had an account on telegram I deleted like a month or 2 ago but I can't sign back up for some reason

I understand it's got nothing to do with this site but I've looked and looked online for help advice support but I haven't found anything

If there's anyone out there that could help I would really really appreciate it

I think that telegram is directly linked to your cell phone number, unlike a lot of messaging apps. It’s possible your phone number is already connected to a telegram account.

Have you tried to figure out the login details for the cell phone number you have? You can log into that account, and use that one, or delete it and start a new one.


I think your issue may be due to the fact that Telegram only allows one account per phone number. At least, that’s my understanding.

I had the same situation. The problem is that telegram is linked to your personal phone number which is already linked to your deleted account. You need to disconnect your phone number and you can re-register. You can also download the app where you can find a free phone number to link your Telegram account. In addition, you can choose a phone number from any state or even country. The main thing is to check US Area Codes.
