First of all, thank you for the discussion so far.
I'm new to this area and have found myself surrounded by misleading "facts", fake accounts, fake speeches, fake reviews, it's all just bad for the business.
There are two bigger sites, that promote the bathmate:
bathmate | penis enlargement | penis enlarger | penis pump
which seems to be the manufacturer, and
Bathmate - PenisPumpe - Hydropump - Online Shop which is an agressive reseller via ebay.
bathmatestore seems pretty straight forward, they don't seem to lie about their product, their online support is very good. They exist since a year and have now a forum, which is empty since a week. So nothing positive, but nothing negative either.
however the german bathmate page has also got a forum, but it's filled with threads about how good bathmate is and all are written on exactly the same day, the next thread comes 3months later and is a generated spam thread. It would not be far fetched, that the new nicknames in here come from there, too...
This is what draws away potential customers!
And also of course that there are 2 or 3 people, with only written threads or answers on that very topic.
I must say to you seahorse, that I am on your side, but consider me, a newbie that has come across the bathmate and then wanted to find reviews for it, so I'm new here and my only posting covers the bathmate topic.
As you may have found out until now, I'm not one of the nicknames, that seem to advertise for it here.
Rather I'm one, that may have been fooled by purchasing that product, but I'm willing to try it out and give a real review, also documented with pictures, of course, this will take some time, I'm only in my first week, but I'll be back then.
I agree to look at a problem and new investition always sceptically. But if people tried the bathmate before, and the product is on the market for now a year, then the question arises, why no one ever has spoken up for or against it honestly?
For me, there are many alternatives:
first and most sceptical:
-> people, who bought it, feel ashamed that they did, because it decreased their money account but didn't increase anything at all
So they are just quiet.
-> buyers don't want to give away their names considering anonymity issues.
-> buyers are just happy and nothing else, why share it with the world? If everyone could add 3 inches to their penis size, one self would not be "special" anymore... So this would be a psychologically egoistic point of view à la: I have what I want, a review brings me nothing at all. 1. I can't gain anything, if other people follow my footsteps, I'd just have to write and then be confronted with scepticism, blabla... Unfortunately I'm not sure, how close this scenary is to reality, but me myself, if my sink is repaired, I don't go out and search for sink-repair-sites anymore... I assume, you get my point.
-> As you suggested, people could be unhappy with the result and just promote the device out of malicious joy, thus others suffer the same.
I think, even with a lot of scepticism, the above scenario would be me MORE realistic.
However, people, who look for penis enlargement methods are very often desperate, and as long as there is hope, they will see the world through pink glasses.
As said, I'm one of them, but this will not be the last words from me. I know, there are others out there, who seek, what I have searched, but not found: A real, honest and barebone review.
Hopefully with that posting I have set a fundament of trust, because my aim is nothing but finding out, how it really is.
