Yes----it really isn't that difficult. Acrylic tubing sized to your choice, acrylic sheet, a saw that can saw acrylic plastic withoug fracturing it, some acrylic cement, a few appropriate plumbing fittings, and some epoxy. If you want to go more exotic and be more like the professional models, you could use putty to mold the ring around the base and cast the ring onto the cylinder with acrylic casting resin.

Edit--I just noticed that you are in Oz--my bad. However, there have to be similar plastics suppliers and industrial supply houses in Sydney. Google is your friend.:biggrin1:

yes a couple of times one with acrylic sheet one with a modified fish tank cleaner both work fine and give me great satisfaction
