Ethan and Cam were roommates. Any innuendo in their vacation scenes has to be viewed in terms of them already having shared a dorm room for at least a year. There seemed to be resentments as well as some focus on each other during their night with the female hookers and the drugs. Ethan was physically ill the next morning, so of course nothing between them then would be "sexy", but Cam knew that and that's why he teased Ethan. They are as complex as any other pairing on the show. You knew Ethan would have a sexy bod by the way he kept in covered in oversized clothing and that awful hairstyle throughout.
Surprisingly all the sex workers survived, with the females actually fulfilling their goals.

You can read it any way you want, and we gay men loove to read this stuff in the gayest way possible. Obviously the creator of these characters is not-straight himself, so their potential for not-straightness would have been considered from the beginning, as it's how we all relate to the world, looking for that as a possibility.

And...I'm still not seeing it, not as an intentional or meaningful part to either character. Young straight men joke like that, with that kind of veiled sexual innuendo, quite commonly with their friends. Screenplays are incredibly economical with the information they convey -- there's really not a wasted word in a masterful screenplay regarding character understanding -- and there's really no meaningful arc here with regards to them being bi. If you were meant to really think they were, it would be the focus of more than a few toss-away, broish, jokey lines.

That's my take anyway.

There weren't several scenes were he kissed Cam on the cheek. It was the night with the sex workers and Ethan wasn't too crazy about it. In the scene at dinner when he told Ethan he'd do him, tantalizing s that was it was anything serious or homoerotic going on. It was typical narcississtic behaviour on Cam's part. The way he interacted with Ethan's wife the first day in the hotel room by getting naked in front of her. At dinner, he never toughed Ethan the way he touch her or the way he looked at her.

Their was this level of animosity between Ethan and Cam coming from Ethan. We finally go tthe full picture at the wine tasting outing when Ethan called him out when he went for every girl he knew Ethan was interested in and fucking them. He needed to prove his dominance and feed his narcississtic ego.

but ppl assume it happened, how does cam and ethans scene about cam being inside ethan and cam saying he would do ethan not count in the same way? cam is a narcissist - he would sleep with ethan if he thought it would get him a share of ethans money. mike left a lot to be interpreted by the viewer and im not alone in thinking there was a back story between cam and ethan, they probably shared one night in college or fooled around and thats why cam felt comfortable in saying " i wanna be inside of you, i wanna make you feel good ".
