The thing I see most creators do is dis-value that we as fans have to pay a subscription price. I hate to sub to someone and then go through their page to not find anything but PPV content. If you want to charge 10+$ and have PPV I don't renew my sub ever.

The other thing I see creators do that instantly makes me lose interest is how they respond to messages. For example I follow like 4-6 people right now. On Christmas I wished them all well. Only 3 of them responded back. It's not a huge thing but not responding is kind of a bad business imo. On the other hand like Tyler Posey (who supposedly has a OF team responding and posting) who just made it seem like a robot was sending you messages.

I am done trying to help creators though. They always take it negatively even though I am super nice in the way I am suggesting. They do whatever they want and I guess people still sub to them. I don't but I am a nobody =(

I had the same kind of experience and at one point I followed and subscribed to more then twenty preformers. You try to give them some extra feedback on how they can improve or on suggestions on content, especially some of the newer preformers and try to help them improve they get offended and show their true colours that's when I know they are not worth resubscribing to!

I do not feel that there is anything wrong with providing a forum for people to post reviews of people (or as others in this thread continue call it, product). When you overcharge for a "product" that you are advertising, then it is only right that the consumer have the opportunity to provide a review. If you were providing a quality product, then you probably would have more rave reviews than not.

Do not also forget that OF is allowing them to do some of the things that they are doing, like posting constant ads for others' pages and also allowing them to post videos for an additional cost, when you subscribed to a channel.

If people's money is that tight, and they are going to get that upset over content, maybe they should consider whether they really should be chasing an OF person for their posts.

Hoping OF will limit the number of Ads for other guys that people can put on their page. It's starting to be ridiculous. It gives people the impression they got large amount of content when in actual fact it's all ads.... or put a rule where if you put ads... the "content" of their page must be show to let users determine if it's all ads.

If anything, if I see one OF Individual LOAD UP their Page with dozens of Ads in one day, I'll stop, go to my Subscriptions, and make certain that particular page is NOT set for Re-New. Wish these guys would figure that out. I can see that there's probably an incentive from OF and the other OF individual (someone has to be getting a percentage) but jeezus, STOP IT!

I have 2 main gripes about OF users and they're in general.

1. I really think this should be a requirement that OF imposes on its members, you need to be explicitly clear about whether you will post nudes or not. I get it, people use OF for other things, but the default expectation is and should be that you will be posting nudes. You need to be clear and state otherwise if you don't.

2. I really think any OF user who charges more than 10 bucks a month is tripping balls. The average subscription rate to a paid porn site is around 30 bucks a month? And that usually includes access to dozens, in some cases hundreds or thousands of models. Yeah, we're paying a premium for specifically you, but then again, even so, while I have in the past subscribed to paid sites for specific models (the old Tyler from BSB for example), I get tons and tons of other content in addition to that. And with that 30 dollar subscription, it has varying levels of production quality and multiple camera angles much higher than the average OF user. Maybe keep that in mind before you crazily ask people to pay 15 bucks a month to see your 30 second jackoff video you did with your phone in the shower that doesn't even include your face. I don't care how hot you are, I will never pay more than 10 bucks a month for an OF subscription.

What I meant was OF the company doesn't provide any incentive to a creator to promote another creator; those two are just promoting each other and hoping some of their fans will subscribe to the other thus making money. OF benefits due to the 20% cut you mentioned, but they don't care one way or the other about advertising.

I find advertising on a paid page lame as hell which I why I don't do it on mine.
